ABOUT BILL WARREN
Bill Warren is an experienced attorney based in west Bloomington, Minnesota. A lifelong Twin Cities resident, Bill was raised in St. Paul where he attended Cretin High School and the University of St. Thomas. He received his Juris Doctor degree from William Mitchell College of Law in 1968.
Over his thirty-five year career, Bill has engaged in both private and corporate practice. His private practice experience has included work as a solo practitioner and with the Minneapolis law firm of Lang and Pauly (now Gregerson, Rosow, Johnson & Nilan). Bill's corporate practice has been as contract counsel at Honeywell Corporation, and later as senior counsel at FMC Corporation and United Defense.
During his years with Honeywell, FMC, and United Defense, Bill did a variety of business law work, including preparing government contracts, handling environmental and employment law issues, and supervising a variety of claims and litigation matters.
In recent years, Bill's concentration has been in the estate planning field, preparing wills, trusts and related services for clients, and probating decedents' estates. He also provides legal services to clients in the areas of real estate and business transactions. Bill and his wife Kathleen (Casey) have six children and thirteen grandchildren. They have lived in south Minneapolis and west Bloomington throughout their forty years of married life. In addition to their involvement at Annunciation, Visitation and Our Lady of Grace Catholic churches, Bill and Casey were active members of People of Praise Christian Community for 25 years. When Bill is not engaged in his legal practice he enjoys activities with his grandchildren, service opportunities through his church, and woodworking hobbies.
